Yam Theatre
The Yam Theatre, formerly the Portelo, was built in the early 1900s. It was the hub of activity for many yers and later renovated into a retail area. It is currently being restored by the Portales Mainstreet Program to serve as a social area for plays, receptins,and other gatherings.

Heritage Mural - The History of the Mersey River
Liverpool, Nova Scotia
This mural portrays te history of the Mersey River, which flows from Lake Kejimkujik through Lake Rossignol and down to the harbour at Liverpool. This mural starts with an aboriginal village and shows the farming, lumbering, and fishing villages alon the Mersey and finally the shipbuilding in the harbour. This mural is believed to be the largest in Atlantic Canada at 6400 square feet. It was started in 1995 and was completed 1997. This mural was painted by Nova Scotia artist Matth Cupido.
The Rossignal Cultural Centre sent this postcard, but also mention another great museum in the area. The the Sherman Hines Photography Museum.

Chilton County - Clanton, Alabama
The largest peach in Chilton County stands at Exit#212 on I-65 near Clanton, Alabama. Thi 120 foot, 500,000 gallon peachoid water tower was erected as a tribute to Chilton County's bountiful peach industry.

The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce was nice enough to send these cards - I always thought Georgia was the peach capital of the world. But boy do these peaches look good.
