Snowy Owlets
Snowy owls live on the Arctic tundra year around. they nest directly on the ground because there are no trees in the Arctic. Baby owls, known as owlets, are fed by both parents and within eight weeks are ready to leave the nest. Update - Sad News

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately - my dad went into the hospital last Thursday and then came home on Tuesday this week with Hospice. He died in the early hours on Friday.

He was ready and just wanted to get home to be with family.

Believe I 'll off for a little bit longer - will make sure that prize is awarded for the Magic Carpet Ride Contest.
