Montgomery County – Coffeyville, Kansas

The Perkins Building, aka Old condon Bank, as it was in 1892 and as it stand towday in the Coffyville Plaza. It was one of two banks robbed by the Dalton Gang in 1892.

Windham County – Danielson, Connecticut

The Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce sent this lovely card of the Music Hall that was built in 1876 and now serves as the Town Hall.

Nevada County – Truckee, California

Night life thrives at Truckee's historic Commercial Row. The famous Truckee Hotel, cornerstone of Commercial row, continues to attract weary visitors just as it has done since the 1800s.

The Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce . It is a wonderful place on the way to Lake Tahoe (last gas sometimes)

Solano County – Benicia, California

The Benicia Chamber of Commerce sent this picture celebrating the Sesquicentennial in 1997. Benicia was one of the original Capital of California before Sacramento the final one.

Honolulu County – Honolulu, Hawaii

The Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce sent this lovely view of a Hawaiian Moonlight.

Pratt County – Pratt, Kansas

The water towers in Pratt Ks were built in the early 1900's. The Hot and Cold was added in 1956 by a pratical joker a title that has been retained.

Pratt Area Chamber Of Commerce and Economic Development sent this card. It’s rather interesting how water towers play such an important role in so many places.

Mercer County – Bluefield, West Virginia

Germany - Industrial Heritage Trail (via Postcrossing.com)

Who knew that there was a Industrial Heritage Trail? Kind of a neat concept and great addition to my map collections of postcards.

Finland (via Postcrossing.com)

Another map of Finland this the first time that someone has what the map is called “Maiden of Finland” because we see a head, a hand and a skirt in the map. You can really see it when you look.

Kings County – Lemoore, California

The Lemoore Chamber of Commerce was kind enough to send 2 cards, one of the Sarah A. Mooney Memorial Museum and one of a multi-view of the San Joaquin Valley area. One of the more important things is the Lemoore Naval Air Station.

Tulare County – Tulare, California

Who knew it was the Dairy Capital of the world, kind of fun to see that there is a straw in the water tower.

Mono County - Mammoth Lakes, California

Mono Lake can be seen in the lower left corner. The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce sent this to show off their part of the state.

San Luis Obispo County – San Luis Obispo, California

The San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce sent this postcard of one of the California Missions. There are 30 of them up and down the state that were started by Junerio Serra. I’ve been lucky enough to have visited this one.

Santa Barbara County – Santa Maria, California

The Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce was nice enough to send 2 postcards, one of their famous barbeque (and boy is it good seasonings) and one of the wine country. This is one of the newer regions where grapes are coming from.

Santa Clara County – Los Gatos, California

This is from the next town over from where I live. This is a quaint little town and was the epicenter of the great 1989 earthquake in California (Loma Prienta).

Fresno County – Sanger, Californ

The Fresno County Blossom Trail comes aloive each spring with panoramic vistas and a bouquet to dazzle your senses! The trail is a60 plus miles self-guided motor tour through the groves, orchards, vineyards, and wildflowers of California's heartland. Artists of all ages participate in contests, hosted by the Fresno Chamber of Commerce.

Orange County – Dana Point, California

The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce sent this old card of Dana Cove and Dana Point. It’s always great to get old postcards.

Placer County – Roseville, California
