Jefferson County - Charles Town, West Virginia




Jefferson County Court House
Located at Charles Town, this building is historically famous for the treason trial of John Brown, following the insurrctions at Harper's Ferry in 1859.

Guernsey County - Ohio




The National Road carries you through the center of the Historic District where you can still find examples of the 19th century architectue. The Geuensey County Courthouse is in the center of the town with a marble Civil War Soldiers' Monument standing in front. The Soldiers' Monument commemorates the patriotism, hardships and sacrifices of those from Guernsey County, who answered th country's call in time of peril.

Macoupin County - Carlinville, Illinois




Lavish detail, stained glass and carved furnighings highlight this courtroom and much of the interior of the Macoupin County Courthouse in Carlinville, IL. completed in 1870, this majestic temple of justice was designed by architect Elijah E Myers.

The Desert Cottontail is the best-known gnawing mammal in North Amrica - show here feedgin ona prickly pear cactus blossom. Mostly ..... the rabbit spends the day hidin in a "snug" form under abush, in grass, a burrow or a hold under a log.
